Dinner For Four Right To Your Door
(Please page down for additional menu options)
March 31, 2010
Opening Day at Fleet Park is always a fun way to start the spring. It was cold, but I’m glad it was sunny! Our team didn’t fair very well today, but it’s only up from here - there are a lot more games in the future – so the other teams shouldn’t get too comfortable!
With Spring, comes more celebrations! If you would like to order dessert for any Easter (or other) celebration let me know. I’m looking forward to baking Lemon Cheesecake, Carrot Cake, Strawberry Cake with White Chocolate Frosting, Key Lime Pie…any other requests, just send me an email!
Speaking of requests, I had a request for Emeril’s Spinach Enchilada’s for dinner this week. I love fulfilling special requests – what has been your favorite meal that has been delivered to your door? Please let me know if you want it repeated!

We are getting ready for Halloween here at the Peronnet home. We have skeleton’s in the garden, and Frankenstein’s monster in the house – so be warned. I also have a pile of winter clothes and summer clothes to be sorted out – that will keep me busy for a while.
My Cub Scouts have gone have gone camping in this awful weather – fortunately I had to stay home to keep the home fires going and shuttle our middle schooler around.
I bet you’ll be hungry again on Wednesday – just in time to eat dinner delivered by Eat Dessert First!

It turned out that this past Wednesday was a great day to grill out! Thanks for all the orders. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as my family and I did. I thought maybe it was a bit heavy, but my husband said it was a great, filling, real meal – I took that as a compliment.
I know some families are back in school and some are not – we aren’t yet, which is making playdates for the kids difficult when their friends are back in school. I keep offering school work for them to do, but they are putting me off!
With a new school year I am setting a new price. We all know the cost of food has gone up tremendously these past few years, and I haven’t raised my price since 2006. Starting this next Wednesday dinner will now be priced at $55 for a family of 4. I believe you will still agree this is a great value for yourself and your family as you get to sit down and enjoy each other and dinner each week.
The menu on Wednesday , September 2nd (to your home or to The Mallory)
Dessert is: Texas Sheet Cake – I believe the first time I had This cake I was actually in North Carolina, but it I still a winner!
This summer dinner is:
Chicken Margherita- Baked chicken layered with fresh tomato slices, cheese and basil delivers a fresh summer taste
Zucchini Fritters – I grew up with a garden in our back yard and I know my mother had a hard time keeping up with all the squash that came in the door – she started making these fritters, and now you can’t ever have too much zucchini
Italian Pasta Salad – fresh veggies and homemade dressing tossed with farfel pasta
This dinner will generously feed a family of 4 and costs $55. I'd love to discuss specific dietary needs to fit your particular health or fitness plan.

July 29th, 2009
The Peronnet’s had wonderful time visiting family and friends in upstate New York and New Jersey. We were so thankful that other folks had finished their renovations and new homes so that we could get away from our work in progress. Our most interesting dining experience was at a restaurant called Saltmans near Sharon Springs, NY..you start out in the lobby area of the old hotel (no longer renting rooms) and you must place your order before you sit down. Before you are seated in the dining room you have to place your order – I won’t repeat it a third time, but it was very strange.
Then, once you are seated there is a little plate at each setting with coleslaw and one little piece of canned pineapple. Very odd. But of course it is always the company that makes the meal, and we were in good company.
One wonderful friend that we see almost daily at the pool, is always serving her family a wonderful complete meal there. My hubby and kids get hamburgers and she is serving them shrimp and corn salad …of course I cook for my clients but my family doesn’t always get the best. So I asked Amanda for help, and she had plenty of ideas. So this week’s dinner is her suggestion – thanks Amanda!
The menu on Wednesday July 29th or Thursday July 30th( at the Mallory) is:

Thank you for enduring a week without my service..but I’m back in the kitchen this next week. Well, it has stopped raining for now, but watch out for old puddles. My kids were out for a bike ride on
Tuesday and my youngest got stung by a Jelly Fish! Yes! In Larchmont! He was off his bike and running in a flooded area and got stung. I didn’t know we had Jelly Fish in the rivers! He’s fine now, a great friend and neighbor ran to his rescue and a brother ran home to get us. One tip – don’t tell your child that peeing on his foot helps the sting. Yes, he did when we got home..a bit messy, but he’s all boy! And that was just the first day with no school!
After many requests, I am going to start delivering meals to the Mallory Country Club on most Thursday evenings. Since we are there for swim team and/or volleyball it seemed like the perfect night for a break from snack bar or pizza delivery. If it rains I will deliver to your home Please let me know if you want to be on the Mallory Delivery email list/ or if you have friends that may be interested.
